“We were just struck by the drama of the place when we first visited here. It was just after quite a heavy snowfall. There was a lot of snow up there, tonnes of the stuff. We were struck by the non-native tree struggling with the weather and we thought that that would be a good context for the Spontaneous City project.”

Jo Joelson and Bruce Gilchrist of London Fieldworks introduce their two Clumber Park art works but focus more specifically on ‘Spontaneous City in the Cedar of Lebanon.
